Back in 1990 I came up with the name TOXIC TOONS after choking on a cloud of TOXIC fumes that came from a spray can
that I was using to paint my backgrounds I used for my creepy carTOONS . TOXIC - TOONS was then born!
I have worked in the animation industry for over 18 years, mostly with Walt Disney Feature animation doing hand drawn work on the films:
Lion King-Little Mermaid -Aladin -Beauty and the Beast -Tarzan-Hercules-Treasure Planet-The Princess and the Frog & many more!
I also worked on the show , "THE FAMILY DOG" designed by Tim Burton.
In 1990 I did my own 7 minute animated cartoon called,"LET'S CHOP SOO-E!" for International Rocketship Ltmd.

How I started doing my Toxictoons merchandise
1999 is when I self published my 1st book of artwork called, " TOXICTOONS " pictured below.
Its now sold out

My artistic inspirations mostly come from stuff that I grew up with like:
Odd Rods stickers, Mad Magazine, Rat Fink, Wacky Pacages, EC Comics, Plop Comics, The Groovy Ghoulies,
The Munsters , Charles Addams Addams family and many hours watching old cartoons by Walt Disney, Tex Avery, Bob Clampett,
Fleischcer Brothers Popeye & Betty Boop and Woody Woodpecker which we saw before every movie at are local Drive Inn theatre.
Some of my favorite artists are:
Jack Davis, Bill Elder, Harvey Kurtzman, Wally Wood, Basil Wolvertoon, Graham Ingels all from the EC COMICS
Charles Addams, ED "Big Daddy" Roth, Tim Burton, Don Martin, Al Jaffee, Gahan Wilson, KAZ. XNO
Plus Old spooky Horror Cartoons & Spooky movie trailers & films, Old Halloween records of the 60's & 70's,
Halloween time and Halloween masks and toys ! Frankenberry and Count Chocula Cereal
Some of my favorite horror films are:
Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein, Children shouldn't play with Dead Things, Night of the living dead,
Premature Burial and lots of Vincent Prices films, Black Sabbath, Beetlejuice, Mad Monster party,
Tales from the Darkside TRICK OR TREAT episode The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown,
Return of the Living Dead, The Texas Chainsaw 1 & 2 the original ones
I even became friends with Bill Moseley who plays CHOP TOP in Texas Chainsaw 2 at a Fangoria show
and now do his Cornbugs cd art and some art for his new band Spider Mountain
I prefer the old horror films with spooky graveyards and lots of fog and haunted houses!
I love old and new horror hosts like Vampira, Zacherely, Ghoulardi, Ormon Grimsby, Elvira, Jeepers Creepers, and many more!!!!!
Back in 2000 I was working on putting an internet show together called , "Unkle Pigors Spookhouse"

HOW the CHARACTER "UNKLE PIGORS" CAME ABOUT:
I dressed up as this character for Halloween {Pictured above} and I put a picture of it in my 1st art book.
My friends who I was working with on my Spookhouse show idea started caling me , "UNKLE PIGORS" after those great magazines
characters Uncle Creepy & Uncle Eerie we grew up with.
Hopefully this Show idea will be finished or turned into the Halloween special I would like to do before I lie my weary bones at my:
" ROT N CASKETS FUNERAL HOME "

I also love the holiday Halloween and every year I build a lil Spookhouse in the garage at my moms or my house.
Which you can see some of on my DVD also.
The past few years I have done a Limited Quanity Trick or Treat bag special.
They always sell out and come with a silk screened bag, sticker, pins, spooky cd etc...
and are usually For Sale from September to Halloween.
TOXICTOONS HALLOWEEN MASKS
I am really excited about my 1st Halloween mask called, " GRUESOME" available thru TRICK OR TREAT STUDIOS 2010.

I also do art for Haunted Houses like for a great haunt called "NETHERWORLD" located in Norcross, Ga. It's rated one
of the USA's best haunted houses. My wife and I have gone the past 3 years and dressed up & scare people & sell my merch.

James and Kirk of Metallica are both fans of my art and James even wore one of my shirts here on the cover of the Rolling Stone
And he wears 3 shirts of mine on the dvd that comes with ST ANGER cd.
That's when I did my shirts for their tour. These 2 guys are some of the nicest guys I have ever met!!!

MURDERDOLLS WEARING MY SHIRTS
Acey and the rest of the guys from the Murderdolls are fans of my shirts and art.
Acey was the one who got me the gig doing the Murderdolls shirt with the siamesse twins girls .
And both Acey and Wednesday 13 wrote some nice comments that are on the back of my "CRYPTIC ART BOOK"
I also did this banner for RIGGS from ROB ZOMBIE - SCUM OF THE EARTH
He also loves this old shirt of mine above he is wearing "BORN UGLY DIE UGLY"
TOXICTOONS T-SHIRTS
My t-shirt line is one of my best sellers and I have done over 50 designs over the years.
Most the time I do a very LIMITED QUANITY and don't sell a lot of them ever again once they are all gone.
So if you see shirt you like grab it fast because it will more then likely not be reprinted again.Some are almost all gone now!
I also have a few workshirts and my hoodies are all gone now .
I usually send out emails telling people when a NEW item is FOR SALE. It is best if you buy it then to insure you get one.
Like my hoodies I sold this way where only those who preordered them that month where the ones to get one.
